Yuzu is an aromatic citrus used to bring fragrance and acidity to food and drink. Juice, peel and sweet preserves play different roles. Think of it as a flavour to add thoughtfully: a citrus accent in water, a dressing or a spoonful alongside breakfast.

Juice
Useful when you want acidity and citrus flavour in a drink or dressing. Check whether the bottle contains pure juice, a diluted drink or a sweetened concentrate.
Peel
Fresh or dried food-grade peel adds aroma and texture. Use a recipe suited to the format, especially when substituting dried peel for fresh.
Preserve or seasoning
A sweet preserve is different from plain juice, and a savoury seasoning may include salt or chilli. Choose by the ingredient list and intended use.
